We know you have many choices when choosing a dermatologist in Port Charlotte, FL. The most reliable and. the personal way is to call our office directly during our office hours. Also, we have made requesting an appointment a simple and convenient process via our Web site. If for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, we would appreciate a 36-hour window, or as soon as possible. If you make your appointment in person or reappointment at the time of your visit, you will receive an appt. card with the date and time of the visit.
We will call you before your visit to remind you and to obtain any further insurance verification. If you are unavailable, please call back asap. We may also need to obtain a referral from your primary care doctor if your insurance so requires.
Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans. When you call for an appointment we will verify acceptance of your insurance plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are in our network. We accept checks, cash, or credit cards. Co-pays and deductibles are collected at the time of the visit unless otherwise stipulated by your carrier.
If you are financially indigent (we require proof of such), we will make payment arrangements that are fair and reasonable. However, we will not hesitate to utilize our credit bureau for those that shirk their responsibility. Fair notice is always given.
Patients who have coverable insurance but do not pay their co-pays and or deductibles will receive adequate notice before our take further action.
